Was there a time when we could laugh and dream?
Or has there always been this order?
You and I we were not meant to be.
Yet we're drawn to one another.
I close my eyes, yet still you speak.
Words of comfort draw my closer,
Revealing truths that just cannot be,
The indecision leaves me tortured.
Celestial inspiration or insanity?
I'm lost inside my shell.
In my soul, deep below,
the undertow, Depth of flow,
feel the cold, so alone,
Silent scream, tears unseen,
self-cruelty, Programming?
Just cannot seem to let me be,Speak to me, set me free,
sight unseen, Deliver me,
free me from insanity.
Divided mind, perception blind, within a bind,
Thirst to be, one with all reality.
We are One. Forever bathed in eternity.
Breathe deep, this fallacy,
this lie you live.
Relic of ancient times,
obsolete in this domain
Left alone, I'm left alone.
She will fly.
Release me, Enthral me...Confined to the wastes of time.

Perhaps a softer, more “pop-forward” album compared to Inmazes and Witness however equally as effective. Vola simply know how to make approachable and great music. 8/10 RJ
The songs are masterfully composed and flow together beautifully, and the orchestration is exactly how I want metal orchestration to sound: full, playable by a real orchestra, and just as important to the music as the vocals, drums, guitar, and bass are. tonycordeshimself
The Australian prog band channels the chaos of climate change into powerful songs that juxtapose beauty with unpredictable brutality. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 28, 2021
