Life was much simpler then,
Trapped in my own world,
We had no reason to fear each other,
Placid simplicity,
A divide wrought in pain,
Bathing in darkness.
Time folds around me,
Tears flow inside,
A taste of inception.
Days feel distant, Visions obscured,
Remembering through the haze,
Times of silence, Reflective desires,
Holding on to a dream,
Static fills up the screen.
Time hides our bitter fears,
Pain brings us closer,
Deception makes us count the cost,
Delusive reality,
Without hope we reap the harvest ,
Bathing in deceit.
Time folds around me,
Tears flow inside,
A fabled awareness.
Days feel distant, Visions obscured,
Remembering through the haze,
Times of silence, Reflective desires,
The past has no hold nor no claim,
Memories in reverie.
(II) Thought Data Stream (Instrumental)
(III) The Passing
We bargain in silence,
Trade the days for nevermore,
Sweet taste of ashes comforts the pain for evermore.
Days roll by in silence,
Emptiness fills the void.
Darkness surrounds me unseen,
As the light falls,
A faded scene,
Sail through horizons above,
Voice eternal call me home.
(IV) Amaranthine (Instrumental)
(V) Ghost in the Machine
Systemic Failure,
Corrupt Data Grid,
Design Rupture,
Virus contained within,
Control paralysed,
Domination overthrown,
Disable programs,
Shut down the overflow,
Ghost in the machine.
Hear my prayer,
Hear my call from days unknown.
Release your belief,
Reject the deceit,
That binds you in silence.
Hear my prayer,
Hear my call from worlds unknown,
Machinations unreal,
Untamed fantasy,
Cast your fate wisely.
(VI) Love
Open heart,
Courageous
Adept to learn,
Turning our back on the sculptor,
Forging a new way to be,
Rejecting the pain of deception,
Love will set us free.

Perhaps a softer, more “pop-forward” album compared to Inmazes and Witness however equally as effective. Vola simply know how to make approachable and great music. 8/10 RJ

The songs are masterfully composed and flow together beautifully, and the orchestration is exactly how I want metal orchestration to sound: full, playable by a real orchestra, and just as important to the music as the vocals, drums, guitar, and bass are. tonycordeshimself

i like the Rick Beato videos and he had shown the track electric sunrise in his video "How To Count Odd Meters". I was very impressed from this song and searched for the whole album and found it at bandcamp ;-) hpaydt
The Australian prog band channels the chaos of climate change into powerful songs that juxtapose beauty with unpredictable brutality. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 28, 2021
